Graduate Training Programme

Introduction

This scheme is for graduates looking for a career in property, who want to become accredited by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) and work towards becoming a qualified surveyor.

A cohort of four graduates will complete 12 month placements in both Development and Asset Management. These will be based within our Greater London and Thames Valley teams, working across our dual state-of-the-art UK headquarters located in Oxford Circus and at the heart of Europe’s largest single-ownership trading estate in Slough respectively.

Early Careers at SEGRO

During your two year programme at SEGRO, we will support you to complete your APC (Assessment of Professional Competence) through the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).

We welcome applications from keen individuals who are passionate about property, that have studied any degree discipline and are committed to studying to complete their APC. If you do not or will not have a RICS accredited degree, you will complete a RICS accredited Masters in addition to your APC during the programme via the University College of Estate Management. This route will require 20% of your time towards study.

What we’re looking for

You will have completed, or being working towards completing your degree, with a predicted grade of 2:1 or above.

You will have strong interpersonal skills, as well as good written, numerical and IT skills.

You will be well organised with the ability to work on your own initiative and effectively prioritise.

A keen interest and passion for our business. You will gain all the skills and training required for the job, but we want you to be willing to learn and get involved.
