SEGRO leases 2,800 square meters in the SEGRO Park Berlin Airport
SEGRO has let 2,800 square meters in SEGRO Park Berlin Airport to Quadriga Service GmbH and JFC Deutschland GmbH
Of this, 2,240 square meters are accounted for by the food wholesaler JFC, which specializes in the distribution of food from Japan and the rest of Asia. JFC is already an existing tenant in the park and will expand significantly. In addition, Quadriga rents 550 square meters - the company provides trade services in the field of apartment renovation and expansion of commercial and office units as well as customer service orders.
All areas of the site have the DGNB Gold sustainability certificate. SEGRO focuses on sustainability in a variety of ways. For example, wooden trusses were used instead of concrete beams, the roofs and partially the facade were greened and a sustainable greening concept was implemented for the outside areas. In addition, the buildings have energy-saving LED lighting, lots of daylight and e-charging stations. SEGRO is also planning to install a photovoltaic system with a peak output of around one megawatt.
"We are always particularly pleased when we can easily enable existing tenants like JFC to continue growing directly at the location," says Christina Schultz, Associate Director Development Light Industrial at SEGRO.
